Same situation - freeze! Surfing the site spiegel.de with *firefox* and watching a video with *gmplayer* and the systems freezes.
I might have to tell that I'm using the Flashblock plugin in version 1.5.10. This time a got the system to this stage here: http://pkqs.net/~cf/small-IMG_1303 .
