Tried with the 32-bit version, and though it also crashed, responded _much_ faster, (i.e. 30-40 secs to the first crash message, (the 'nvram' line above) and with Call Trace info before freezing. Unfortunately, it output more than a single screen of trace info, but what's left on- screen is:
