I'm using Ubuntu 9.04 with OpenOffice.org 3.0.1-9ubuntu3 . I have two local computers with 9.04 installed, where one can access SSH files just fine and another can't.
When I run oowriter from the console, on the computer that has the problem and I try to access a file over SFTP, I get this output: o...@sepiroth:~$ oowriter ** (soffice:28207): WARNING **: unable to get gail version number (soffice:28207): Gtk-WARNING **: Operation not supported by backend (soffice:28207): GLib-CRITICAL **: g_filename_to_uri: assertion `filename != NULL' failed (soffice:28207): GLib-CRITICAL **: g_filename_to_uri: assertion `filename != NULL' failed (soffice:28207): GLib-CRITICAL **: g_filename_to_uri: assertion `filename != NULL' failed (soffice:28207): GLib-CRITICAL **: g_filename_to_uri: assertion `filename != NULL' failed (soffice:28207): GLib-CRITICAL **: g_filename_to_uri: assertion `filename != NULL' failed (soffice:28207): GLib-CRITICAL **: g_filename_to_uri: assertion `filename != NULL' failed (soffice:28207): Gtk-WARNING **: Operation not supported by backend (soffice:28207): GLib-CRITICAL **: g_filename_to_uri: assertion `filename != NULL' failed (soffice:28207): GLib-CRITICAL **: g_filename_to_uri: assertion `filename != NULL' failed (soffice:28207): GLib-CRITICAL **: g_filename_to_uri: assertion `filename != NULL' failed (soffice:28207): GLib-CRITICAL **: g_filename_to_uri: assertion `filename != NULL' failed (soffice:28207): GLib-CRITICAL **: g_filename_to_uri: assertion `filename != NULL' failed (soffice:28207): GLib-CRITICAL **: g_filename_to_uri: assertion `filename != NULL' failed (soffice:28207): GLib-CRITICAL **: g_filename_to_uri: assertion `filename != NULL' failed (soffice:28207): Gtk-WARNING **: Operation not supported by backend (soffice:28207): GLib-CRITICAL **: g_filename_to_uri: assertion `filename != NULL' failed (soffice:28207): GLib-CRITICAL **: g_filename_to_uri: assertion `filename != NULL' failed (soffice:28207): GLib-CRITICAL **: g_filename_to_uri: assertion `filename != NULL' failed (soffice:28207): GLib-CRITICAL **: g_filename_to_uri: assertion `filename != NULL' failed (soffice:28207): GLib-CRITICAL **: g_filename_to_uri: assertion `filename != NULL' failed (soffice:28207): Gtk-WARNING **: Operation not supported by backend (soffice:28207): GLib-CRITICAL **: g_filename_to_uri: assertion `filename != NULL' failed (soffice:28207): GLib-CRITICAL **: g_filename_to_uri: assertion `filename != NULL' failed (soffice:28207): GLib-CRITICAL **: g_filename_to_uri: assertion `filename != NULL' failed (soffice:28207): Gtk-WARNING **: Operation not supported by backend (soffice:28207): GLib-CRITICAL **: g_filename_to_uri: assertion `filename != NULL' failed (soffice:28207): GLib-CRITICAL **: g_filename_to_uri: assertion `filename != NULL' failed (soffice:28207): GLib-CRITICAL **: g_filename_to_uri: assertion `filename != NULL' failed (soffice:28207): GLib-CRITICAL **: g_filename_to_uri: assertion `filename != NULL' failed (soffice:28207): GLib-CRITICAL **: g_filename_to_uri: assertion `filename != NULL' failed (soffice:28207): GLib-CRITICAL **: g_filename_to_uri: assertion `filename != NULL' failed (soffice:28207): GLib-CRITICAL **: g_filename_to_uri: assertion `filename != NULL' failed (soffice:28207): GLib-CRITICAL **: g_filename_to_uri: assertion `filename != NULL' failed (soffice:28207): GLib-CRITICAL **: g_filename_to_uri: assertion `filename != NULL' failed (soffice:28207): GLib-CRITICAL **: g_filename_to_uri: assertion `filename != NULL' failed (soffice:28207): GLib-CRITICAL **: g_filename_to_uri: assertion `filename != NULL' failed (soffice:28207): GLib-CRITICAL **: g_filename_to_uri: assertion `filename != NULL' failed The same operation on the computer that works find does not emit the assertions (but does emit the warnings). -- OpenOffice.org writer can't open ODT files from sftp folders https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/384852 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
