This issue is able to be reproduced in current and past versions of Ubuntu.
Steps to reproduce: 1. Mount remote file system with sshfs. 2. Navigate to a directory on the remote file system with nautilus 3. While the directory is retrieving the contents, modify the path text 4. When the contents finish, the text you have typed in is discarded and replaced with the text that was there before you started typing. This is very frustrating when you open a new tab (makes a copy of the current window) and attempt to alter the path before the contents have loaded. If you are not a fast typer or press enter soon enough it will erase what you have tried to put in. Is there any way nautilus might include CTRL + D to send focus the path input? -- Nautilus erases path input when a directory loads https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/384114 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
