It does it over both SSH and Samba - so I'm not sure how that could be server specific. And the same occurs with pictures on the root of the share (where there are no spaces) - i.e
smb://192.168.0.113/share/ I'm using no user authentication for SMB, and standard user/pass for SSH which is held in the keyring. As I say though - if I do a symlink to the .gvfs directory - i.e /home/spode/.gvfs/share on 192.168.0.113/ The thumbnails are displayed correctly. The same occurs when connecting via sftp:// to my webserver - so a different server entirely. So I really don't think it's anything to do with the server setup and I can't think of anything specific about my Ubuntu installs that would mean the problem would be specific to me! This is the first bug I've ever filed - so excuse me if I do something wrong btw. I'm a little stumped and not sure where to go from here! -- No thumbnails when viewing SSH share (GVFS) https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/385147 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
