Setting up locales (2.9+cvs20090214-7) ...
cat: /var/lib/locales/supported.d/ies4linux-2.99.0.1: Is a directory

I wonder where that came from. Can you please give me the output of
dpkg -S /var/lib/locales/supported.d/ies4linux-2.99.0.1
? If that doesn't bring anything, and you don't know what this directory
does, can you please remove it with
sudo rm -r /var/lib/locales/supported.d/ies4linux-2.99.0.1
and repair your installation with
sudo apt-get -f install
?
