I experience very poor sound quality when playing music from RhythmBox when a VirtualBox VM is open. All sound gets badly distorted no matter where it originates from, Guest or Host OS. It even happens when nothing else is open except RhythmBox and VirtualBox. I'm running Ubuntu 9.04 x64 on a quad processor ASUS PB5-E motherboard with 4GB RAM. Guest OS allocated 1GB RAM. Sound card is Sound Blaster Extigy External USB Card.
