Strange, it unpacks samba so it should create /usr/sbin/mksmbpasswd then
during postinst /usr/sbin/mksmbpasswd is no longer there:
Unpacking samba (from .../samba_2%3a3.3.2-1ubuntu3_i386.deb) ...
...
Setting up samba (2:3.3.2-1ubuntu3) ...
Generating /etc/default/samba...
/var/lib/dpkg/info/samba.postinst: 81: /usr/sbin/mksmbpasswd: not found

subprocess post-installation script returned error exit status 127
Could you remove samba (sudo apt-get purge samba) and try reinstalling
it ? This should definitely not happen, unless you remove files that
were just being installed...
