Binary package hint: pidgin
I often change networks on a daily basis ( about 6 networks counting
wifi and cable ). After going with laptop put asleep to work, pidgin
shows no contacts ( is not connected ), even disconnect/reconnect does
not work. ( changing statuses ). I need to restart pidgin to reconnect.
