Based on comments elsewhere, it seems that "Calendar Publishing" (In EVolution preferences) DOES work over DAV with Apache-- so Evolution already supports saving calendars with webdav-- it's just not implemented for *subscribed* calendars (only local calendars)! So if this is true, it should be a simple change to implement!
