The burning speed combobox gives a list with burning speeds, this list
is limited to the maximum speed of your cd/dvd recorder (as reported by
the hal). How are you able to select 1000000x, is this in the list?
Please run the following command on a terminal:
$ lshal > lshal.txt
Attach your lshal.txt to this bug report and tell us which is the max.
writing speed that is indicated on your cd/dvd recorder.
