Who can check this behaviour? Configure compiz "mouse position polling" on,
this runs default on both STRG keys. Now start a virtual machine and let it
catch your mouse. If you press STRG now compiz will show the flash all over the
screen and the movable mouse inside the vm. The mouse cannot be freed from the
vm, only the compiz flash effect shows up outside the vm window, but you cannot
click things.
The way out is a clean shutdown of the vm guest or killing virtualbox from
another computer via ssh.
I read about a bug that screen switching with compiz does not work with
a vm, think this is a similar quirk.
