Setting Confirmed. I seem to be having constant problems accessing the
pidgin bugtracker. Would someone see if they can report this upstream to

Pidgin lets me edit the alias of connections available via Bonjour, but these
aliases do not persist across sessions even if
the username and machine identifier remain the same. Notes are also lost.

Steps to reproduce:
- open up Buddy List
- select user in Bonjour group
- edit alias
- alias is changed
- quit pidgin
- restart
- open up Buddy List
- user in Bonjour group reverted back to original alias
Still persists in Jaunty.
