I have tried waiting several minutes at least one time. But normally, I
will just get impatient and kill it. I will try to take time on it next
time it happens and wait at least, say, 5 minutes? But even if the user
has to wait "just" 30 secs or more, I think it still qualifies as a bug
because the user expects that the application is closed, when the
windows are closed. If it takes a long time, some mechanism should
inform the user of this.
