We will certainly consider a new point release, and will do one at some
point, but it is a lot of work to prepare and adequately test and we
cannot commit to a quarterly (or otherwise regular) schedule.
While it does remain on our to-do list, this is not an appropriate topic
for a bug report. Please do not consider the rejection of this bug as a
rejection of the idea.
