+ Currently every time I start the laptop, Kmix says it's muted. If I

- Sound worked out of the box in Dapper and does not with Edgy. Sound
- works fin in Windows, so the hardware is good. There is no sound at

+ IIRC, when I had Dapper on this laptop it did not do that. This is a
