Then your /etc/grub.d/00_header hasn't been updated.
I don't know why this can happen, all files in /etc/grub.d are dpkg conffiles.
Someone on Debian had this problem too that a file there wasn't updated.
Maybe you changed it and then told dpkg to keep your local modified version of 
it?
IMO this bug is invalid, you just need to purge the package and reinstall and 
it should work.
