I'm the original author of BloGTK. The BloGTK 1.x codebase is extremely old and may not be worth fixing at this point. There has been a substantial amount of work on a new version, and the in-progress code is available on Launchpad (https://launchpad.net/blogtk). However, I'm unlikely to be able to do much work on the project for at least the next few months. The new version is MUCH more feature-rich and works with the new Blogger Atom APIs as well.
If there is anyone who wants to work on completing BloGTK 2.0 or maintaining a set of packages, they are more than welcome to do so.
