Can you try installing linux-backports-modules-jaunty to see if it
helps? It has an updated compat-wireless stack which may help. If this
issue remains, do you see anything like a kernel oops or panic when the
driver crashes during shutdown? Even if you have to take a digital
photo of your screen of the oops/panic to attach to this bug that would
be most helpful. Thanks.
