Public bug reported:

Using HP Pavilion DV5-1251nr, with a new install of Jaunty. No sound
whatsoever. Linux noob, happy with Ubuntu since Feisty, everything
works great but no sound. Added sound rights to my account, checked
sound levels, card has been discovered and is card0. Sorry I can't
provide more information than this, want to learn more about Linux.
