In Kubuntu 9.10 alpha 2
wicd does not recognize a wired connection
In Jaunty I can connect to the internet and include "pon dsl-provider" in the
scripts
in Karmic, it does not recognize the pppoe dsl connection, even after doing
sudo apt-get update, sudo apt-get upgrade and posting on the Kubuntu forums,
there is still no recognition of any network.
