If hal and devicekit-power have the same behaviour, then it's probably a
kernel bug; however, let's keep it at dk-power for now.
Can you please copy&paste the output of "devkit-power -d", and then
start "devkit-power -m", plug in/pull out the AC cord (with the battery
in place, of course :) ), and then press Control-C and copy&paste its
output again?
