Public bug reported:

When I put a disk in my DVD drive, the drive runs but the disk is not
found. If I open Dolphin, the drive does not appear, but does appear in
KInfoCenter and appears when I open K3B. The DVD drive is Model Lite-On
Model DVDRW LH-20A1S Rev. 9L08. This appears to be a regression in
Karmic, since the problem does not exist when I reinstall Jaunty. The
drive being used is the same one I used to install Karmic. If I remove
Karmic and reinstall Jaunty, the drive works normally.

System get I/O error when it tries to read dvd (end_request: I/O error,
dev sr0, sector 121296)

This is only a problem with Karmic Alpha 1 and Alpha 2.
