I'm not sure David, because my system freeze completely when I insert a disc (bug 74372) and I can't check :(
Release notes for Gnome 2.26 (http://library.gnome.org/misc/release- notes/2.26/#rnusers.brasero) says that the old interface is still available, but default app is now Brasero.
