mdz, I've forwarded this bug upstream to https://bugs.freedesktop.org/show_bug.cgi?id=22336 - Eric wants the dump to be generated in a different way, could you follow his directions to collect a dump using INTEL_DEBUG=sync and post the results on the upstream bug?
Re the full screen aspect, it could be coincidental, but sort of jumped out.
