I got the same thing. The terminal has been stuck at this for over an hour now. I had closed it and then it told me to run 'sudo dpkg --configure -a'. I did, and then it got stuck at that part again. Now I can't install anything or even open Synaptic until this is fixed, it seems. Can't I just go back to the previous kernel? (If that's even the problem, because I wouldn't know.)
