This does not appear to be a major bug or even a bug at all, however I
figured I would report as it is.... running kernel version
2.6.30-9-generic #10-Ubuntu SMP Fri Jun 12 13:05:04 UTC 2009 i686
GNU/Linux and it appears to have created softlinks to my initrd and the
compressed kernel image in the /. I have a 100 MB /boot partitioned in
ext2 as I am running XFS so there shouldnt be any reason that I have
these symlinks here... unless, for some reason, the development requires
this or something that I am not aware of in the system lay has changed (
havent beta tested ubuntu in a while as I just came off of beta testing
Win7).
Anyway, this is obviously very low priority and I havent yet dissected the .deb
source to see what the build file looks like.
