This script restarts the wireless system to a point where a reboot is
unnecessary.
It runs with no output and finishes in ~1 second. When finished, the wireless
is normal again.

I made this into a launcher button for a one-click fix, with command:
gksudo -- xterm -e "/home/me/reset_wireless.sh; sleep 3"

If I eject the card and wait a couple seconds then I can suspend with no issue.
Still a sizeable nuisance. My mother wouldn't be able to handle it.

More description of the issue:
Upon suspend, the card's power indicator turns off, then the "Devices failed to
suspend" message is displayed (see dmesg.log) and the power indicator
immediately turns back on. The card will then sometimes go into a weird state
where it refuses to work. I believe a simple eject cycle isn't sufficient to
fix it, although I'm having trouble reproducing the behaviour.
