Hi I've had a similar problem. When I try to launch 'Root Terminal' it asks for my pass word, then disappears when i fill it in. I wait & wait; nothing! I try to launch it again; "Loading" appears in the bar; then disappears! I tried your "Ctrl+Alt+F1" ; at first i had problems logging in cos i use the number pad for numbers, till i * guest * i had to use the "qwerty" numbers! It all went fine till it asked me to launch "Python-launchpadlib" ; how do i do that? Thanks d0m.
