Public bug reported: I can't connect to wpa personal networks using the iwl3945 driver under a fresh install of jaunty, but had no problem using intrepid or hardy. This is similar to bug #347572, but installing the linux-backports- modules-jaunty package did not fix my connectivity problems. I can connect to unsecured networks, but haven't tried other encryptions. The problems persist over both dhcp and static configurations.
