Dell Inspiron 2650 hangs during boot of Ubuntu 9.04. This happens the same way whether booting from the Live Desktop CD, or from an already working copy of 9.04 on the hard drive. (That is, the hard drive was removed from the 2650, installed on another type of computer, then 9.04 was installed from CD on that system, then re-installed the hard drive back into 2650.) Two different i2650's hang the same way. The last two lines of boot message, as copied from screen: [ 0.782477] pci 0000:00:1e.0: MEM window: 0xe8000000-0xe80fffff [ 0.782572] pci 0000:00:1e.0: PREFETCH window: 0x00000030000000-0x00000035ffffff The above last lines are the same each time.
