Public bug reported:
Binary package hint: specto
For some reason, the debian/ubuntu packages patch about.py to link to a
systemwide gpl-2 license file, and strip out the COPYING file that comes
with the package.
Now, I'd like to know why this is done. Because it breaks when either
about.py changes, or when the patch is removed and that specto can't
find the COPYING file. I don't understand why this is patched in the
first place. It's not like the user will miss those 17.6 uncompressed
Kib of disk space.
