Hi, My Computer has been recently freezing (crashing) again.
I'm not sure if its the New Linux Kernel or the fact I am sometimes using it in Hot environs. (The ACPI tempreture had gone up to 89* C because of some intensive use few days ago. However, its not rock-solid stable like 8.10. Hope some updates do the trick. Good luck Regards, Indian Art -----Original Message----- From: Turboo <[email protected]> To: [email protected] Sent: Wed, 17 Jun 2009 8:50 am Subject: [Bug 386607] Re: Screen freezes for no reason Can't say that the latest update showed any difference, not for me anyway. Still the same behavior. -- Screen freezes for no reason https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/386607 You received this bug notification because you are a direct subscriber of the bug. Status in Ubuntu: Fix Released Bug description: Binary package hint: yelp I regret upgrading to 9.04. Jaunty is so unstable. Intrepid was stable as a rock. Pity I can't go back as I have a dual boot. Please could you glean from the error report what's wrong. I haven't a clue why it freezes so often. I wonder if its incompatibility with the Intel Graphics card which was 'blacklisted' by default in 9.04.
