I tried Kubuntu Karmic Alpha 2 and wireless support is broken again.
I don't know if it is the driver/firmware or Network-Manager, but it won't
connect to my WPA-PSK encrypted network. It could be the firmware because in
OpenBSD(which uses a driver written from scratch) iwlwifi-3945-2.ucode
15.28.2.8(the one in Jaunty) works while the latest 15.32.2.9(the one in
Karmic) doesn't.
Anyways Xubuntu Jaunty still uses the old firmware iwlwifi-3945-1.ucode and
works like a charm.
There isn't any error message, it just is never able to authenticate nor run
dhclient successfully.
