Same problem, using T61. I tried the solution that is listed on thinkwiki: http://www.thinkwiki.org/wiki/How_to_enable_the_fingerprint_reader_with_ThinkFinger#Jaunty
You have to: $ sudo apt-key adv --recv-keys --keyserver keyserver.ubuntu.com F2A12FABE936A7BBDC4EA33351DB180D1323E149 and add these repositories: deb http://ppa.launchpad.net/jon-oberheide/ppa/ubuntu jaunty main deb-src http://ppa.launchpad.net/jon-oberheide/ppa/ubuntu jaunty main Then upgrade: $ sudo apt-get install thinkfinger-tools libpam-thinkfinger Now sometimes the issue is reproducible for me, sometimes not (queries password fast, logs in fast). -- sudo is slow in jaunty https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/372697 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
