Binary package hint: evolution
To recreate this bug. do the following.
1 create a single day calender entry(new appointment) that does not recur.
2 double click that event, at the top in a menu or button on toolbar. click
recurrence button to add a recurrance
3 fill out the recurrence as usual - multi-day or week. define lenght with
buttons up or down to add or subtract.
4 save it. and watch evolution crash to desktop.
this does it EVERY time, no matter what.

(my workaround is to create the appointment fresh, edit the recurrences
at the same time, then save it, this works fine)
