Binary package hint: pidgin
Running pidgin 2.5.5-1ubuntu8.1 (on Jaunty 9.04). I reinstalled my
system a couple of weeks ago. I have been using pidgin for a few weeks
since then. With startup today it failed to start. (well it starts, and
crashes with SIGSEGV after showing the window a second).
When i disable yahoo first (by disabling network first, i have the
chance to disable yahoo), there is no problem. So this definitely is a
yahoo problem. This can also be seen in the backtrace.
Running inside gdb showed me the following:
