Public bug reported: Virgin Mobile recently released a new pay as you go mobile broadband card and service:
http://web.virginmobileusa.com/broadband I'm using this for demos where there is no open wireless access, such as in classrooms and at conferences. The USB card is a Novatel MC760, and the wireless internet service uses the Sprint EV-DO Rev. A network. It would be great if instructions could be posted on how to access this in Ubuntu, or support for it could be added to the NetworkManager applet. I don't mind if it has to be activated in Windows first (already did that), but would love to actually use the internet connection from Ubuntu. Thanks! ** Affects: ubuntu Importance: Undecided Status: New -- Support for Virgin Mobile Broadband2Go USB Card (MV760 & Sprint EV-DO) https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/390749 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
