Marking this invalid on the papercut side due to this being more of a
gash that needs stitches right now :)

As far as I know, there isn't a distro out there enabling Strigi by
default yet. I do know products like Nepomuk work fine without it. Right
now there is talk upstream about some database stuff that I can admit to
not following as much as I probably should. This is in fact a valid
wishlist report at this time and something we will look into
implementing as soon as we can. Thanks!
