Hi, I have the same problems with audio on a MSI EX623X-077EU laptop. It has the same audio circuits ( 82801I (ICH9 Family) HD Audio ). I managed to make the front speakers (left and right) working. i edited
nano /etc/modprobe.d/alsa-base.conf and added these lines at the end options snd-hda-intel model=3stack-dig options snd-hda-intel enable_msi=1 options snd-hda-intel single_cmd=1 and had to check "Headphone:" under volume control-->switches . But the subwoofer is still not working :( . I miss the bass.
