I tried this fix on my HP Pavillion tx2000 series laptop, but I am not able to
find the desired file
/etc/modprobe.d/alsa-base
Where I went wrong....
PS I am using Wobi version of Ubuntu 9 on my vista installation, is this
the reason
Unless my sound card works, i am not going to screw my vista
installation
