Ok, I run a jaunty, I've added the PPA, did apt-get update and apt-get
install vlc.
Now, the vlc segfaults. Here is the output:

"globalhotkeys,none"

[0x231f888] main libvlc error: interface "globalhotkeys,none" initialization
failed
[0x231f888] main libvlc: Running vlc with the default interface. Use 'cvlc' to
use vlc without interface.
