I'm operating a Lenovo 3000 (Type/Model: 53016BG).
CPU Type: Dual Core Intel Pentium D 920, 2,80 GHz.
Motherboard: LENOVO
RAM: 2038 MB
BIOS Type: Phoenix (02/13/07)
Graphic Card: nVIDIA GeForce 9400 GT.
Monitor: Lenovo ThinkVision L2240p (Model: 4422-HB6) [22" with Pivot].
I'm using a Dual-Boot-System (GRUB) with Windows XP SP3 and Ubuntu 9.04.

After booting Ubuntu by GRUB the system notices:
"[0.47nnnn] PCI: BIOS BUG #81[0000006a]"
("n" stands for a number between 0 and 9).
This bug-report occured the first time after installing Ubuntu (Version 8.10)
and GRUB.
After booting Windows XP by GRUB there is no bug-report.
The number in front of the report has originally been [0.520nnn]. I was using
the IGD (Internal Graphic Device) and a Philips 19"-Monitor.
After installing the Lenovo-Monitor it became [0.50nnnn].
After build in the nVIDIA-Graphic Card it became the current [0.47nnnn].
The bug-report has been the same with every kernel under Ubuntu 8.10 and
Ubuntu 9.04.

I suppose this bug is related to the graphic system of my computer.
First reason:
>From the beginning I had problems with the monitor resolution. Most of the
>time X-Server resp. RandR didn't detect the monitor correct. I had to execute

Now operating the nVIDIA-Card with the special NVIDIA-driver (version 180.44)
and using the NVIDIA X-Server Settings, there is no problem with the resolution.
Second reason:
The change of the bug-report after changing the monitor and the graphic card.

Until last week, I supposed that BIOS bug didn't cause no more
inconvenience than the resolution problem.
But than I tried to install "Papyrus Autor", a text-editor-software for windows
(s. http://www.papyrus.de).
In every forum you can read, it works fine with current wine. On my laptop its
running under wine 1.1.24 without every problem. But on my desktop it won't
run.
In terminal I got the messages:

Because of the mention of "gdi32" I suppose a relation to the BIOS bug
#81.

As suggested in bug-report #310803 and bug-report #309519 I tried
booting the system by using
"noapic nolapic" and "acpi=off",
but with no effect. The bug has still been reported.
