Hi Sebastien, I know the Copy/Paste action is *possible*, but what I meant is that it's not as easy as it should be : one has to switch into text mode (either by clicking on the "notepad-like" icon or pressing Ctrl+L. This should be possible using a single action (Paste) with no prealable action.
Moreover, shortcuts are ok for expert users, but I think we shall not rely on that to ensure a good usability : most people do know Ctrl+C (eventhough lots of basic users prefer using contextual menus), but I'd bet my hand that 90% users do not know Ctrl+L. ** Changed in: nautilus (Ubuntu) Status: Invalid => New -- Pasting a path should be possible without prealable switch to text mode https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/391194 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
