A further update on this bug. This is indeed a bug. It would appear that on all my folders the option 'Use custom message templates' is on.
If I turn this OFF, it still ignores the templates in the main settings. To get around this, I have to edit every custom template on every folder! Most annoying. A response to this or even an acknowledgement would be great.
