As a workaround for kernels 2.6.28:
- The only source file that have a reference to 
KVM_CAP_DESTROY_MEMORY_REGION_WORKS is kvm-all.c
- If you look at that file, there is a comment that states the problem is 
related to kvm 80 or earlier (before feb 2009)
- Because the package now is kvm 84, and the kernel (2.6.28-13) is newer, I 
commented out the 8 lines in kvm-all.c, and deleted the 3 lines in configure.
- Then I was able to compile qemu-0.10.5 with kvm support enabled (this option 
is enabled by default, there is no "--enable-kvm" option)
