** Description changed: Binary package hint: totem Hi all, - I'm a first time linux user and just installed ubuntu 6 + I'm a first time linux user and just installed ubuntu 10 - edgy eft on a brand new laptop (std specs 1.6ghz, 512mb ram). Booted off the live CD and was looking at the desktop. While I was installing and partitioning the hard disk, I decided to try the example folder out and tried to run Totem, but was promptly and rudely booted out to a completely black screen with nothing but the cursor ticking. Lol... dealt quite a blow to my confidence in Linux having it crash on me in the first five minutes of use and while partitioning my HD no doubt. Anyway, was able to re-partition and finish install, but every time i try to run totem, the window hangs and after about 10seconds i'm booted out to a black screen and nothing recovers from it other than the power button. I don't really know how to do anything yet like make a crash log. I've already looked at the major bugs such as bug 35229, but it doesnt seem to be the same. Help!!! + Squiggle
