Hi, thanks for your bug report.
Every 6 moths you have a new Ooo version (if it is available). Do you
think this is a unacceptable delay? I guess no.
The Ubuntu release schedule (a new release each 6 months) lets you have
the latest version of most used softwares.
By the way, if a security hole is found, surely you have an update
available, in one, two days, thanks our Security Team.
