while the --enable-ssh-support suggestion sounds reasonable, I have serious
doubts about it.
as I said, ssh uses the agent just find when I am logged in locally (at the X),
but not for remote logons.
so, why does ssh started locally works with gpg-agent without the
--enable-ssh-support option?
also, will I need to apply the same change after each upgrade?

another issue which worries me is: when I use ssh at a local terminal in X, a
small window asks me for a passphrase (once a day). when I use ssh at a remote
terminal, the local X window asking for a passphrase is not going to be seen by
anyone.
is there a way to tell the agent to switch communicating with me between the
remove tty local X?

thanks!
