Public bug reported:
Version 0.6.4-1ubuntu1 of the package changed the group used from
libvirt to libvirtd, however libvirt-bin.postinst wasn't updated to
create the different group. This prevents the service from starting.
There should probably also be a migration script that moves the users in
the libvirt group to the libvirtd group.
